The E4 Championship continues its 2026 campaign as the Formula 4 series promoted by ACI Sport and WSK Promotion prepares for the second of its three seasonal rounds. Just two weeks after the opening event at Vallelunga, the championship heads to Circuit Paul Ricard in Le Castellet for Round 2, scheduled from 17 to 19 July.
After claiming two victories and a third-place finish in the opening round, US Racing's Luka Sammalisto arrives in France as championship leader. Chasing him in the standings are Kenzo Craigie of R-ace GP and Oleksandr Bondarev of Prema Racing, with drivers from three different teams occupying the top three positions in the championship.
A strong international field is expected at the French venue, with 38 drivers representing 25 nationalities and competing for 10 different teams.
Track action will begin on Friday, 17 July, with two free practice sessions.

The first is scheduled from 08:00 to 08:40, followed by a second session from 13:08 to 13:48.
Qualifying will take place on Saturday, 18 July. The first session is scheduled from 10:45 to 11:00, with the second running from 11:10 to 11:25. Under the E4 Championship format, the results of the first qualifying session will determine the grid for Race 1, while the second session will set the grid for Race 2. The grid for Race 3 will instead be formed using each driver's second-best lap across the two qualifying sessions.
The first race of the weekend will get underway on Saturday afternoon at 16:35. All three races will be contested over a distance of 30 minutes plus one lap.
Race 2 and Race 3 will then take place on Sunday, 19 July, at 11:00 and 17:25 respectively, completing a weekend that could already prove crucial in the fight for the 2026 title.
All races throughout the weekend will be broadcast live on ACI Sport TV, streamed on the championship’s official social media channels, and carried by the international network of broadcasters that brings the E4 Championship and Italian F4 to fans around the world.
